After all the excitement of summer holidays
September, by tradition, is normally a slow month, with the emphasis on
winding down and relaxing as much as possible; though not in our office,
where the whole team have been extremely busy putting together this
September issue. As usual Spencer has been chilling out on the back row,
taking in the new spoof flick Scary Movie, Chris has been busy pennning
his page about his not too profitable fishing trip, while The Man In The
Hat has an exclusive about Geoff the Chef.
Regular readers will no doubt remember that last month I gave an inkling of information with regard to a new member. Well, as promised, I welcome Niki Sharp to the Peterborough Live! team. Niki is our new Nightlive! reporter and she’ll be sniffing out those stories at all of the clubs in the area, though besides reporting on the Peterborough scene she’ll also be clubbin’ from afar. |

Finally, I come to a close and introduce a new
series of features entitled, Down Your Way, where we go out and about to
those areas that are just on the border of Peterborough. This month we
take a peek at the old market town of Wisbech, a place of such grandeur
and filled with history and also where this month they celebrate their
annual heritage and harmony festival.
Besides that there is still plenty going on a little closer to home, with events taking place at Ferry Meadows, salsa classes at the Solstice and at the new Peterborough Women’s Centre. There’s also an abundance of competitions this month including a meal for two at the Tom Lock Harvester, tickets to the Natural Healing Exhibition, copies of the limited edition CD as well as copies of the new Rothmans Football Yearbook and Barry Fry’s autobigraphy, Big Fry. Regards Carl Golder (Editor)
